How to Create Child Name Servers[Personal DNS] for a domain as a Reseller ?

Child Name Servers or Personal DNS are also called as host records. These are essential for unique branding of your reseller account. This allows running domains in your own name server.This following procedure helps in managing the Child Name Server details for a domain.
Required Information
--------------------
Your Domain Control panel username and password.
Procedure
----------
[1] Go to your Domain control panel.
[2] Supply the user name and password. Select the role as Reseller and login

User Name is email that you used while registering the domain .
[3] Under products Menu, click on the link list last 10 domains.
[4] Click on the domain name which you wish to manage.
[5] Click on the Manage Child Name Server button.

You might view Manage Child Name Server button as disabled if your domain is locked for security reasons. Then Click on lock/unlock option. uncheck the options and press update button. This will unlock the domain. Now you can proceed to the next step.
However, if the domain is locked by us, then contact us to unlock it.
[6] Supply "NS1" in the textbox against Hostname and corresponding IP address in the textbox against IP address and click on submit.
[7] Supply "NS2" in the textbox against Hostname and corresponding IP address in the textbox against IP address and click on submit.
[8] Click on the Modify Name Server button.
[9] Supply the Name Server you have setup a while ago on your domain name and Click on Submit [ Example : NS1.YOURDOMAIN.COM , NS2.YOURDOMAIN.COM ]
[10] Signout.

Creation of Name Server details will take minimum 48 hrs to reflect in whois output. Hence you will have to wait and use these DNS after 48 hrs to avoid longer downtime.
Changing name server info is risky. If you are not sure of what you want to do, ask for professional help.

You might get an 500 Servlet Exception Error. In that case please logout, delete cache/history of your browser and try creating DNS after sometime.
